In 1927, the McKellar family planted seven trees, which would grow and become the heart and namesake of Seven Sycamores Ranch. This historic homestead, settled in the shadow of the Sequoias and surrounded by rows of orange trees, captures the essence of California. Beauty grows on the limbs of its trees, it’s built into the walls of its buildings, and it’s found in the earth underfoot.
Perhaps no one can appreciate that history more than Bob McKellar, who grew up at Seven Sycamores where he played in the orchards as a child, where he worked as a young man. His passion for the land grew with time, and in 2007 he wed the love of his life, Ann, in the backyard of his childhood home.
Their wedding marked the first of many to be held at Seven Sycamores, the first page in a new chapter of the story of Seven Sycamores.
